Random Photos: Scenes from Manila Bay

Lucky shot of a tern taken onboard a tugboat headed for the open bay
It's not everyday that you get to travel along the Pasig river and navigate your way to Manila Bay. So, even with a head short of sleep, was inspired to take random snaps along the way coming and going to our destination somewhere along the bay. The estuary was alive with activity -- there were dogs running on some boats, no doubt the pets of the sailors who stay-in on the bigger boats; there were fishermen casting their line and nets which comes as a surprise as the murky, heavily polluted water seems to be a harsh environment for anything living, much less, headed for the dinner table; there were also a lot of gulls and terns which follow in our wake, not a few swooping for a quick meal.  (All images taken with a Nikon D7100 and Nikkor 80-200 f/2.8 lens)
