Flights of Fancy eBook Excerpt: Grey Wagtail Spotted in Maligcong

I spotted this Grey Wagtail (Motacilla cinerea) on the heels of the excitement generated by having seen the Brown Breasted Kingfisher on the Maligcong Rice Terraces near to the extension village in Sitio Makonig.   I was walking my way back to the homestay when I saw something bluish-grey hopping on the watery terrace.  The color alone is tell-tale, it couldn't be just another tree sparrow though the hopping and tail-wagging are shared traits. •  Taken with a Nikon B700, Manual Mode, Handheld • © 2019 Oggie Ramos
