Maybe, I was inspired by the upcoming exhibit of my good friend, Ferdz. maybe, not shooting anything for a month now is making me dig deeper into my Roxas stash. But any which way I'd like to rationalize it, I would just like to share another capture from Casanayan in Roxas. I never thought I'll find anything else I haven't posted yet in my archive but seeing this made me look back from my trip -- the image of a young girl helping his father fish near the shore. Under the mid-morning sun before the tide rises to its full height, this girl does a job usually reserved for boys, in lieu of playing. Makes one think how lucky some city kids are. Then again, I guess this girl's parents are luckier since they have a child as helpful as she is.
i honor this girl. lucky for his parents. looks like you still have a bunch of really good shots bro. we need to see it here. i hope we can learn some photo techniques from you. like arlene, i will be one of the first people to be a student. maybe when i'll get the chance to buy a DSLR.
naku dom, i don't know if i'll make a good teacher. i can teach techniques though one thing with me kasi is i shoot intuitively most of the time. talagang on-the-fly madalas. kahit tanungin mo si ferdz, hehehe. anyway, one of these days, magkakasama rin tayo. i think you have a good eye and a curious mind; it would be just a matter of time before you get into more serious photography :-)
sidney, i'm going to miss you and your incisive images and stories. i'd wish you'll come back real soon. and i hope i get to meet you in person :-) curious, ferdz and i were just talking about you kanina.

She'll be blessed. it's the first commandement with a promise. "Obey your parents."
A strong image! Hard life...
I am out of blogging for some time! It was great meeting you virtually... maybe we meet in real somewhere in the Philippines.
