Took a break from weekend overtime work to attend mass. Nugget of wisdom from my favorite priest at Greenbelt chapel, Fr. Bob: yesterday was a cancelled check; tomorrow, a promisory note. only today is valid currency. To apply this to my blog's theme: yesterday was a canceled trip; tomorrow, a planned itinerary; only today applies as an ongoing journey. Amen to that.
