Drab day gorgeous

Days like these when the skies heap loads of precipitation so much so that the roads become waterways and bancas seem to be a more logical mode of transport even here in the city, we can perhaps make do with a splash of bold colors like this Hmong seller in Sapa, Vietnam. Even in the aftermath of the rains and the perpetually foggy conditions, their boldly-colored wares and brightly-dyed apparel stand out. At times, they seem like characters from a movie, otherworldly ones who emerge from the shroud of fog, ready to press their interesting wares on unsuspecting visitors.
