Make time for Earth Hour • Saturday • 8.30-9.30pm

Just what does one hour mean?
• one pass of U2's No Line on the Horizon CD
• an episode of Lost Season 5 or American Idol season 8
• 60 zany minutes of the usual telenovela
• 1-2 games of brisk badminton
• 60 sites for a site-for-a-minute web surfers

The list goes on. 60 minutes of switching off the lights may not mean that much but can have a dramatic impact on our planet (and the way we see about saving our planet). Let's celebrate Earth Hour this Saturday, March 28, 8.30-9.30pm. Together, we can make a difference.

we have a local program for Earth Hour here in Cabanatuan and we are one in joining other cities and towns and countries worldwide that will turn off their lights for an hour. we really need to send a strong message to the world about the urgent need to addredd climate change.

dom, i think ccp will host an event for the day. they already hosted a preliminary event, sibol: juan for trees, in time for earth hour day.

oman, it's a good thing for cabanatuan to join the earth hour. kudos to your kababayans!

pao, the more support, the better for all of us

jasper, there were pocket events in some places, not just here in manila but in the visayas and mindanao. the news reported that over 630 towns participated, establishing the philippines as the country with the most number of towns/cities participating in the world.

marga, ok lang yun kasi we passed by sm megamall at around 8.40pm and all the lights on their large billboards were put off.

rayts, thanks thanks. glad you liked it. kahit ako nga natutuwa. wow, nag-pinatubo ka? tagal ko nang hindi nakakabalik doon.

naku, we came from an assignment last saturday and got caught up in traffic so di rin masiyado nakapag-participate. bumawi na lang by adjusting the time we turned on the lights.
