Posted an earlier image of this beautiful bird I first spotted about 7 years ago in Maligcong, Bontoc in Mountain Province but has proven elusive until this year.   Posting another angle that shows the beautiful wing patterns of the Mountain Verditer Flycatcher (Eumyias panayensis) found in the subtropical or montane forests of  the Philippines and Indonesia.  Staus: Least Concern.  Backlit conditions required me to lighten up the shadows to reveal the subtle coloring of this bird, a lucky find especially as I was too lazy to go birding most afternoons. | For a checklist of birds found and catalogued here in the Philippines, visit the eBon link.
