Serendipity strikes. we met, chatted and made fast friends with Aldrin, a Batanes native, while waiting in line at the airport. He's coming back after training at the DOH main office in Manila and he'd be our resource person in our entry into Batanes.
We ended up at the Ivatan lodge, a government-operated hostel, simple, clean, and quiet.
