After around 5-6 hours on the road, we've reached Pagudpud. First thing we noticed are the numerous places offering homestay accommodations. the beach is clean, the sand powdery, the place relatively quiet. Not being a beach person, I welcome the occasion to relax and unwind, catch up on rest because I know there's the looong drive home coming up the next day. The restaurant service in most establishments is on the slow side, with 30 minutes as standard minimum waiting time, something the establishments need to address. We checked out the other establishments, namely Saud (the most popular one) and Apo Idon (the best one we've found). The power outage was a minor snafu. And Pagudpud is a rather nice way to cap the long trip.
