Nearing the journey's end

After a series of developments and epiphanies, I'm contemplating on either putting this and my other blog in hibernation or altogether write 30. I really have no idea how many people actually read this blog but I hope it has reached a few and inspired them. Thank you.

Hi, Oggie. Please keep on writing and keep on posting photos. I'm a lurker here in your blog. Believe me...

Hmmm... if you think a short hiatus would do you good then I think it would be the best. Palagay ko madami ka ring lurkers dito. Nahihiya lang mag comment. Hehe

thanks. my blogfriends. there are some things going wrong right now that merit my attention. it's also probably a case of epiphanies.

hahaha, at times i wonder whether keeping a blog that probably nobody much reads is worth it. it's a relief to find out there are actually people who read it. hmmm, i'll take a break and see what happens.

Oggie - I understand that maintaining a worthwhile blog takes a lot of time, but your work here is so unique and refreshing. I’d like to drop you a comment more frequently, but so often there’s little more to say than, “WOW! AMAZING!!!” over and over again.

For me, your blog is truly a portal into a beautiful part of the world which I will likely never see in person. You go so far beyond drab skylines and landscapes and actually capture the details of intimate moments in a way that virtually transports your readers to the places you visit.

Yes, a blog can seem so insignificant when weighed against the trials of life, but when it’s -20 F here in January with 2 feet of snow on the ground, I really appreciate looking through the window into your world. Take care and God bless.

i really enjoy reading and visiting your blog. in fact, i even showed it to my friends. i recently had a visit to siquijor and when i was there, i am reminded of the place you have featured in your blog.

like u, i do get tired (everybody does) and seek for an alternative.

i guess my main line is law and accountancy and my alternative is traveling.

as one of my fave adage goes - "rest if you might but don't you quit".

bro, ok lang kung hibernate lang, maybe you need a good rest... basta aabangan namin ang pagbabalik mo, you know that i love your pictures... God bless you!

hi, i do visit your blog though i don't comment often. but this i'll say about your blog, that it's really great that you show pictures of the philippines. i love them and even the short write-ups that accompany the pics.

if ever sana nga hibernate ka na nga muna, just come back when inspiration strikes again. ^^ looking forward to it. =)

nga pala, were you ever interviewed in jessica soho's show?

hi carlotta! thanks for the kind, encouraging words. hahaha, i haven't been interviewed for anything much, much less for jessica's show. i guess i'm much better working behind the camera than in front of one :-) have a good day!

Don't you quite, Oggie. I understand there are lots of visitors here in your site but didn't just commented kasi there's not much to say other than staring your photos with awe.
I'll be visiting here more often as my Internet presence would permit and I'd like to see more of your posts...

pre, there are always readers. most don't really comment but they keep on reading. A few months ago, I got feedback from friends themselves that they know of my current situation and state of mind by reading my blog from time to time. I was wondering why they weren't commenting it was just enough for them that they know i'm okay.

blogging is okay but sometimes I feel its a routine. If you need to take a break, then do grab that. maybe after, you come out refreshed and that blogging groove will come back again and you pick up from there.
