Got lucky having seen and captured this sabukot or Philippine coucal on the treetops of the hill at the back of DDD Heritage Inn in Tam-am, Bissang, Banaue, Ifugao a week ago. We may have not lucked out in capturing any during our foray into the Eco Trail of Camp John Hay in Baguio but we were amply rewarded during subsequent birding trips in Bontoc and Banaue.
