Form and function, plus volleyball matters

Am going overtime again, this time rushing things for tom. And more to come, for an Easter break.  Whew!  Thought I could take a break next week since it's going to be the Holy Week. Guess that would have to wait a little while. For the time being, I look forward to Sunday's CPR seminar in U.P. had a bit of discussion about the lack of time working out. So I think there are a lot of ways to get some exercise even with a busy sked. There must be something wrong in a world wherein everyone seems to just deteriorate with poor choices -- spending a lot on the wrong kind of foods, drinking the wrong kind of stuff, and having time for a "good" time yet no time for exercise.

I guess, it's just a matter of re-orientation. We just have to think of exercise as an appointment we have to keep. Otherwise, we really wouldn't find time for it at all. Which brings me to my topic: functional exercise.  It's a topic on this week's edition of the American Council on Exercise website.  Repping out on the grocery bag. Stepping up and down the stairs. Everything adds up naman eh. The all-or-nothing proposition bars people from pursuing exercise.  Hmmm, food for thought for later musings.

Anyway, on a whim, emailed my sentiments to this popular Cuban volleyball site, which is maintained by an Irishman named Eire. Got feedback from him and a kababayan. Hmm, seems I'm not the only one who admire the Cubans, ehehehe.

Anyway, gotta eat overtime dinner. got a lot to do pa.
