3 Quotes

Today, I'm giving way to 3 motivational quotes from a dear friend, Chantal:

Looking back you realize,
That a very special person passed briefly through your life;
And it was you. It is not too late to find that person again.
Robert Brault

Courage is contagious. When a brave man takes a stand,
The spines of others are stiffened.
Author Unknown

Beginning today, Treat everyone you meet as if
they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to
them all the care, kindness and understanding you
can muster, And do it with no thought of any reward.
Your life will never be the same again.
Og Mandino

The first talks about not finding oneself in one's lifetime. Alas, too often, we get to know and try to understand other people than we do ourselves. How true, and how tragic indeed.

The second one speaks of a healthy contagion. It often takes one brave soul to pave the way for others to follow.  It's an ode to so many people who may have risked everything, and in some cases, lost their lives, so that others can take the path not usually taken.

The third is by one of my all-time favorite inspirational writer, and it's about not taking anybody for granted. All too often, we forget that life can be unpredictable. While sometimes, it's ok to adopt a "there's always tomorrow" attitude, it often robs us of the chance to be a better person to others.

Thanks AMC, for those wonderful thoughts that aligns me when I stray, keeps me grounded when I'm tempted to succumb to arrogance, and keeps me spiritually awake when the forces of darkness are tempting me to give in and put my moral self into sleep. God bless you!
