Wandering from Bokkong falls on the way back to town, chanced upon the Sanctuary Museum-Art Gallery. Had a lively conversation with Toks, an EC Engineer turned full-time artist. Married to an Ilongga painter, he narrates how he decided to forego the daily grind for a gypsy-like kind of life, traveling around, expressing his art, performing music all across the country. Learned a lot of lessons from this unassuming artist and caught up in the talk that I missed my 11am bus. No regrets though. if you'd ask me, I can live this kind of life.
