Rainy days like what we've been having the past couple of days make me look back at our sapa trip where the inclement weather adds to the mood of this cool place somewhere up in the highlands of Northern Vietnam, where a splash of bright color seems more like a bolt of light that emerges from the heavy fog and lifts up everyone's spirits.
