Sagada - Dogs day afternoon

The highlands of mountain province seem like a virtual playground for dogs as they're omnipresent almost anywhere you go. It might seem strange as dogs are fair game to the locals, as gruesome as it may sound to animal welfare activists or dog lovers (I myself am one), but I want to skirt around this topic and just note the presence of these super-friendly animals we stumbled upon, from Bontoc to Sagada. On this note, Lagalog is taking a sabbatical, per chance to find something to bark about. While Im not leaving on a jet plane, the song's lyrics, "Don't know when I'll be back again," rings true.

i too love dogs. but we dont have one right now. im sure those dogs are lucky to have such great climate but maybe not when weather is too cold.

brilliant as usual! i am amused how you make open spaces accentuate the object.

dom, i don't have a dog either right now but i love dogs and they love me back. i don't think the dogs mind the very cold weather it seems. anyway, thanks for dropping by.

ron, i love experimenting with negative spaces and in this case, i found a nice pattern in the light and shadow. while the capture isn't as sharp as i wanted it to be, i thought the b/w conversion would make it more interesting and the blur less intrusive. thanks for dropping by.
