Next stop: the Laoag church as well as the sinking belltower. we had our fill of food for the tummy, now we went for another serving of food for the soul. In lieu of covering the santos of the altar (because it's Black Saturday), the church defied the norm and instead had the main altar covered by a painting of the Pieta - a nice touch, actually, since it gave me the opportunity to capture the altar behind it.
